Mr John Pereira

Mr John Pereira is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon Based in Kent and Sussex.  He is fully trained in the UK and on the specialist register of the General Medical Council. 

John held a full time NHS Consultant post at the world famous Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead until 2006 when he reduced his NHS commitment to spend more time in his own practice.  He now spends his time providing a high quality, unrushed and personal surgical practice based in 3 Hospitals in Kent and Sussex.  John has been a featured surgeon on Extreme Makeover UK, teaches regularly for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has lectured and published both nationally and internationally. 

John performs a large number of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures each year and has adapted standard and more recent procedures to minimise down time to patients and ensure optimum outcomes.  He is regularly the surgeon of choice for other doctors and nurses who require surgery, which is always a good recommendation! 

Interests

Specialist interests include all aspects of Cosmetic Surgery as well as skin cancer management and reconstruction of post cancer deformity such as breast reconstruction using patients own tissues.   John conducts regular educational evenings for patients, or a consultation can be booked directly via his personal assistant.
